Position Summary

Nestlé Purina Petcare Belgium is looking for a dynamic Technical & Nutritional Advisor.

Are you a highly motivated and experienced professional in the veterinary industry? Are you passionate about driving advocacy and recommendation for Purina products within the vet and breeder community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Purina as a Veterinary Technical Training and Development Manager.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive vet and breeder affairs program. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the technical and commercial skills of our delegates, developing training plans, conducting training sessions, providing technical support, and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy to establish the Pro Plan brand as a reference in solving the problems faced by veterinary clinics and breeders.

A day in the life of a Technical and Nutritional Advisor

• Evaluate the technical and commercial skills of delegates, defining the level of expertise for the Advocacy Team.

• Develop a national training plan and policy for Advocacy Delegates and veterinary clinics.

• Create effective and inspiring training modules utilizing existing materials.

• Train Advocacy Delegates to conduct training sessions in clinics.

• Provide technical support and assistance to delegates and veterinary clinics.

• Actively participate in regional and national veterinary congresses.

• Build relationships with veterinary schools and train students.

What will make you successful

• Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field.

• Fluent in English, French and Dutch (both written and spoken).

• Extensive experience in the veterinary industry, including working in veterinary clinics.

• Strong knowledge of pet food and nutrition.

• Proven experience in training and development, preferably within the veterinary field.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Valid driver's license.
