The Product Manager - Print Optimization & Planning is responsible for driving the global success of our print optimization and planning software products, including Phoenix and Griffin. You will lead strategic initiatives like migration to cloud services, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate across teams to integrate our products into the broader Esko portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the print industry by delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability for our customers, and will be located remotely in EMEA.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Manage product performance and sales turnover across regions by understanding the market and identifying actions to boost sales.
Develop a 1-3 year product vision, including migration to cloud services, and secure internal and external stakeholder buy-in.
Collaborate with Esko product managers to integrate Phoenix into the broader Esko product portfolio, enhancing interoperability.
Translate product strategy into prioritized development plans and assist the Product Owner with business aspects.
Drive impactful product launches by working closely with R&D, marketing, sales channels, and executives.
Act as a product evangelist internally and externally to build product awareness and understanding.
Travel up to 50% of the time globally, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both business needs and personal commitments.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness to travel up to 2-3 days per week (approximately 10 nights away from home a month) globally.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of international business experience in a customer-facing role.
Proficiency in hardware/software product development methodologies.
Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in German or French is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of the packaging supply chain and management processes.
