We are looking for a new Controlling & Decision Support Manager to join our Nespresso team. As Controlling & Decision Support Manager, you will lead financial planning, analyze performance, and identify opportunities and risks to achieve targets. You will ensure accurate data and analysis, allocate resources efficiently, and drive continuous improvement. As a manager, you will coach and develop a small team.

A day in the life of a Controlling & Decision Support Manager

  • Lead the yearly financial planning and monthly business planning cycle, with scenario planning to inform & influence the strategy and pilot towards targets.

  • Review monthly performance, identifying root cause of possible deviation vs. forecast as well as areas of opportunities and risks to achieve targets on top line and profitability performance.

  • Understand key cost components and drivers of the P&L, providing accurate data/analysis as well as the reliable measurement of selected key KPI's to arbitrate between these P&L elements. Ensure and efficient resource allocation.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across PL and key processes.

  • Analyze and challenge product portfolio and promo strategy to maximize ROI.

  • Ensure quality financial information is used by the business for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood.

  • Coach and develop the copiloting and decision support team, focusing on individual and team growth, career planning, and succession planning.

  • Drive compliance in finance, including by following Nespresso financial policies, accounting and costing standards; preparing and participating in audits (NGA, Statutory audits, ISO, etc).

What will make you successful

  • Master Degree in Finance and/or Accountancy

  • 5+ years in F&C copiloting experience, business analytics and/or reporting

  • IT literate with very advanced skills on Excel, Power Point and strong knowledge of Power BI and other reporting tools

  • Experience in managing a team and working in a multicultural and diverse environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong drive as self-starter

  • Proficiency in English and fluency in at least French or Dutch (both an advantage)

  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience a plus
