Kyndryl is seeking a passionate and driven Cloud Architect to join our team and break out of the hierarchy to rewrite the rules for what comes next.

As a Cloud Architect at Kyndryl, you will be re-energized with a fresh set of challenges, including working on large enterprise, fast-track cloud projects. Cloud Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

As a Cloud Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, hence we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Solid understanding of at least one of the Hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/Google)

• Understanding of Systems and Solutions Architecture

• Hands-on experience & learning with Data Center technologies, Cloud Software, and interoperability

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Overall CSP Services and the ability to learn and understand the new CSP Services.

• Infrastructure Services (IaaS, PaaS)

• Container services, Kubernetes

• Serverless Services

• Data services (Databases, Data warehouses …)

• Security and analytical services

• Networking services

• API concepts and API Services

• Architecting Solutions including Cloud Native Solutioning

• Reference architectures of the CSP, including landing zones

• DevOps culture and principles

• Source Code Repository (e.g. Git)

• Application Development

• Development of IaC ( JSON, YAML, specific CSP templates …)

• Backlog management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
