Summary: ATS is seeking an NDT Level II with MT, PT, VT and UTT certs for Brunswick, GA as a Resident Inspector/Project Manager.This is a full time position working guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential weekly overtime as requested by client. No per diem, and no lodging. Relo assistance/incentive available. This is an immediate opening.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform field inspections of industrial equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems).

  • Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel.

  • Manage client relationships.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in NDT ideally in and around the pulp and paper industry.

  • NDT Level II certs in MT, PT< VT and UTT.

  • AutoCAD and/or Compress experience preferred.

  • High School Diploma, proof of NDT formal training and experience hours for each method.

    Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.

  • Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.

  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.

  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.

  • Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
