Adecco US, Inc. Avionics/Electrical Technician (sign-on BONUS) in Brunswick, Georgia

We are seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician in Brunswick, GA to provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring minimal schedule impact through effective repairs while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role also involves implementing process changes to reduce costs and ensure timely delivery without compromising safety or quality. The technician may also fill in for the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.

  • Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft per Engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Effectively repair or replace defective components and wiring using industry-standard practices such as splicing, soldering, and pinning.

  • Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.

  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment and conduct functional/operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.

  • Ensure all work is properly documented and ready for inspection.

  • Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.

  • Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.

  • Adapt to sudden schedule changes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, OR two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years of related experience.

  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.

  • FCC certification preferred.

  • NCATT certification preferred.

Additional Functions:

  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight tests as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting aircraft systems beyond avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, or structural installations and repairs is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
