Quality Technician – Supplier Quality

Are you an experienced Quality Technician looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring a Sr Quality Technician to support our Supplier Quality Department within the Parts and Accessories Distribution business. As a Quality Technician , you will assist in maintaining supplier quality data, managing non-conforming parts, overseeing the Supplier Quality lab, and coordinating 3rd party inspections. Quality Technician Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe Supplier Quality lab while following all safety regulations.

• Test, analyze, contain, sort, and report supplier quality issues.

• Update reports and dashboards to support Supplier Quality.

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high accuracy.

• Communicate with suppliers and coordinate sorting of non-conforming parts.

• Interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams to assess quality.

• Package and return defective products to suppliers.

• Take ownership of assigned suppliers, including site visits, corrective action reviews, and PPAP assessments.

Quality Technician Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, science, or related field OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, focused on quality or operations.

• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, gauges, and fixtures.

• Experience conducting root cause analysis on quality defects.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, NMR, ECR, SPC, and ISO Quality Systems.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
