We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, 53223, United States. The successful candidate will be an essential part of a cross-functional team, focusing on crafting scalable software solutions that cover the entire software development life cycle. The job function will primarily revolve around application development in the tech industry.

This role requires 2-days onsite- Monday and Friday.

Must be a USC as we cannot provide sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Develop new applications and contribute to the maintenance of existing software

• Write effective code in both front-end and back-end languages, with an emphasis on Angular 7+

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Address both technological and consumer needs

• Build new or adapt existing APIs for integration with third-party applications

• Write unit and UI tests as well as utilize source control systems such as GitHub effectively

• Perform rigorous testing and debugging of applications; troubleshoot, investigate, and rectify bugs and/or performance issues

• Carry out technical root cause analyses and formulate corrective actions for given issues

• Write thorough technical documentation

• Keep pace with the latest developments in software, programming languages, new tools, and technology, as well as best practices and techniques

• Collaborate professionally with development teams, graphic/UI designers, product managers, and other associates to craft software solutions, and with the IT operations team to support the systems/solutions.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a software engineering role or related field

• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies

• Extensive experience in API Development

• Demonstrated knowledge of Angular framework

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and its deployment

• Proficiency in .NET Core and C# - Sharp

• Strong experience with databases, specifically MySQL PostgreSQL

• Experience in Typescript and Flutter for app development

• Knowledge in iOS Mobile application development

• Proficiency in JavaScript for front-end web development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven track record in delivering high-quality software on time
