Our client is looking to hire an Aircraft Rotor Blade Technician Trainee in Broussard, LA for a long-term employment opportunity with one of Aviation's largest manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM requirements

• Rotor blade repair activities include sanding, cleaning, and blade specific maintenance

• Shipping and Receiving responsibilities of blades and components

• Employee's will complete training in Blade Repair and Shipping and Receiving

Education:

• High school diploma or or Technical Certification/Diploma

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a blade tech, or experience working in field such as automotive or aircraft repair

• Effective communication skills, both verbally and written

• Knowledge of working on computers for documentation of work

• Attention to detail and follow directions, both written and verbal

• Maintain good eye-hand coordination

• Work well in a team oriented environment

• Prior blade repair experience and knowledge of all facets of blade repair preferred

• Prior aircraft or automotive experience may be a plus

Pay Rate: $20.00 - 25.00/hr (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
