Hiring skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Broomfield, CO

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of industrial equipment, quality inspection of parts and finished products, operational testing, and troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. You will also drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, participate in equipment evaluation, and handle shipping/receiving duties.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Pay: $23-$25 based on relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial equipment.

• Inspect the quality of parts and finished products.

• Conduct operational testing of finished products.

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, identifying and documenting root causes and implementing fixes.

• Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes by evaluating new and existing processes and equipment.

• Participate in equipment evaluation with Operations and Engineering staff.

• Handle shipping/receiving and freight preparations.

• Complete specific projects and other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly.

• Mechanical inclination.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• General labor experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience.

• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, bills of materials, engineering assembly drawings, and work instructions.

• Team-oriented with the ability to contribute toward team goals.

• Self-directed and proactive in identifying and solving problems.

• Willingness to train and work in other areas as needed.

• Knowledge of inventory management concepts and processes.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or perform team lifts for weights over 75 lbs.

• Ownership of a personal set of tools.

• Capability to perform tasks requiring standing, sitting, kneeling, and reaching.

• Commitment to promoting a safe work environment and wearing personal protective equipment as required.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday, from 8am-4:30pm. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses will be provided, while steel-toed shoes are required but not provided. Candidates must bring their own tools, including wrenches and allen wrenches.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
