Epiroc USA LLC Key Account Manager in Broomfield, Colorado

As a Key Account Manager, your main responsibility is to analyze and improve the business relationship with your assigned customers. This involves creating strategies to increase Epiroc's market share, visibility, and profitability. You'll provide valuable insights and data to support sales and marketing efforts for capital equipment, spare parts, service, and drilling tools. Effective communication and collaboration with Business Line Managers (BLMs) are crucial, as well as building and managing multi-level relationships within the customer's organization.

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, operations, and strategies to design and implement customized marketing plans aimed at increasing market share and profitability. Ensure consistent global sales and service levels for each account through idea generation, innovative problem-solving, and action-oriented decision-making. Facilitate periodic business review meetings with key account personnel to engage commitment and rapport. Utilize project management tools and techniques for proposals and contracts to track costs and overall progress on increasing market share. Be confident and persuasive in your communication skills to manage all communication and messaging from Epiroc to assigned accounts. Demonstrate confidence and persuasive communication skills while managing all communication channels, including presentations and verbal interactions, from Epiroc to assigned accounts. Gather and maintain accurate data on fleet (Epiroc and competitor) usage, drilling parameters, and efficiency to inform strategic business decisions, demonstrating readiness to take risks and make prompt decisions amid changing circumstances. Report monthly on market intelligence, feedback, and industry trends to relevant business lines. Regularly communicate with counterparts within the Epiroc USA Customer Center, fostering collaboration and relationship-building. Prepare and present forecasts and progress reports to internal stakeholders. Participate in local trade associations and trade shows. Supervise and mentor direct reports, guiding them through the entire employee lifecycle (i.e. recruiting, onboarding, performance management, responsible feedback, training and development, other HR metrics).

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred; relevant experience may be considered. Minimum of 10 years' experience in the US mining/construction industries At least 5 years' experience in direct sales or OEM dealer management preferred. Direct experience with customer operations, planning, and strategy highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to business, including financial analysis and business principles. Possess excellent collaboration skills, effectively contributing to team efforts and inspiring commitment from others. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook is required Previous use or applicable knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with a strong customer focus, emphasizing rapport and relationship-building. Travel is approximately 60% of the time, anywhere in the USA, with possible travel overseas. Must live within close proximity of a major airport and a le to conveniently travel via air and/or car to visit their customer base. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions with both customers and internal staff.
