Job Summary

The Clinical Education Consultant (CEC) will coordinate pre-sale and post-sale customer education and training initiatives, and act as the clinical and technical expert for the ZOLL hospital product line. Within the direction of the Clinical Deployment team, the CEC works collaboratively with the Territory Manager throughout the sales process, and builds deep, long lasting customer relationships in order to encourage ongoing utilization of ZOLL hospital products and achievement of desired clinical outcomes within an account. The CEC utilizes principles of adult learning in the assessment, program planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the educational process. Emphasis is on competency skill assessment and development of all clinical staff through identification of learning needs. Coordination and provision of educational offerings including orientation, formal continuing education and in-services, are a major function of this role. The CEC serves as a resource to staff of all levels and provides direct training/education of newly hired staff, territory managers, and new customers through facilitation of the preceptor model. The CEC actively participates in leadership of quality improvement processes and affecting process and protocol changes within the account's resuscitation algorithm. Essential Functions Assisting with and/or initiating in-servicing events in existing and new accounts Communicating leads and account updates to outside Territory Manager Providing input to prepare additional materials as needed in the support of sales and training Supporting and/or participating in tradeshows and events Providing input to the HWD marketing department Organizing and conducting educational events in existing or new accounts Responsible for maintaining disposable utilization and expanding clinical applications within existing users through ongoing education and relationship building Act as a clinical and technical product expert for all ZOLL Hospital products and LifeVest products, in order to discuss the chain of resuscitation Be a passionate advocate for improving patient outcomes in an inpatient hospital setting Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred or BA or BS preferred A minimum of three years' experience as a Registered Nurse required or Paramedic, preferably in the Critical Care Setting required and Experience with resuscitation, demonstrated by being a regular member of the Code Team or Code Committee required A current state issued clinical license in good standing Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals Bilingual experience a strong plus (Spanish, French or other) Ability to effectively educate clinical personnel Ability to affect change through education and evidence based clinical literature Ability to seamlessly integrate technology (iPad, Outlook, PPT, etc.) into work Demonstrated flexibility, autonomy, s lf-motivation, and a high level of professional demeanor Ability to work effectively with and direct training and in-servicing programs to achieve highest level of product compliance Ability to meet deadlines and follow-up Availability to travel Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills ZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
