The Ramadi Lab for Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine (www.RamadiLab.com) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate to join a young energetic lab focused on neuroengineering of the brain and enteric nervous system. The candidate will join an exciting federally-funded project developing ingestible electronic devices with a high potential for translation. Tasks will include device design, manufacturing, and preclinical model neuroscience and behavioral experiments.
Our laboratory offers multidisciplinary training with a high degree of academic freedom among various high-impact translational projects. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students, ensuring the candidate learns valuable skills in writing manuscripts and grant proposals, advising fellow researchers, and establishing collaborations across disciplines.
The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for translational biomedical engineering. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in engineering, neuroscience, or a related field. We welcome applicants from recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $80,000.
