This is a Continuous Improvement / Maintenance Manager position located in the Brookhaven, MS area.

Job Summary: Aptiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement / Maintenance Manager to join our team in Brookhaven, MS. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability of equipment and processes.

Responsibilities: Continuous Improvement: Lead and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Conduct regular process reviews, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address inefficiencies. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement principles and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and facilities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations. Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Promote a safe working environment by providing training and enforcing safety protocols. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and continuous improvement projects. Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management. Utilize data analytics to track progress and identify trends for further improvement.

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves): Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. Proven experience in continuous improvement and maintenance management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable plans. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Strong organizational and project management skills. Commitment to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt). Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices. Knowledge of automation and modern manufacturing technologies. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
