We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, switches and routers, IT security, remote desktops, troubleshooting, client support, backups, virtualization, storage, and customer service. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional IT solutions and support. This is a Direct Hire role based in Brookfield, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Windows Server Management: Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

• Azure and Cloud Solutions: Implement and manage Azure cloud services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud resources.

• Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.

• Network Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain network switches and routers to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.

• IT Security: Develop and implement robust IT security policies and practices to protect client data and systems from threats.

• Remote Desktop Services: Set up and manage remote desktop solutions to enable secure and efficient remote work capabilities for clients.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.

• Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization and system performance.

• Storage Solutions: Design and manage storage solutions to meet client needs for data storage, retrieval, and security.

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their IT needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures. Provide regular reports on system performance and issues.

• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their IT needs and provide expert consultation on technology solutions and best practices.

  Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.

• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 administration.

• In-depth knowledge of network switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).

• Strong understanding of IT security best practices and technologies.

• Expertise in remote desktop services and solutions.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience with diagnostic tools.

• Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Strong knowledge of storage solutions and management.
