We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. This role requires deep expertise in firewalls, network security, switches, routers, SAN, LAN/WAN, network architecture, wireless access points, advanced networking concepts, and network troubleshooting. This is a Direct Hire opportunity in Brookfield, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive network solutions tailored to meet client needs, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Firewall and Security Management: Configure and manage firewalls, ensuring robust security protocols are in place to protect client data and network integrity.

• Switches and Routers: Install, configure, and maintain network switches and routers, ensuring efficient and reliable connectivity.

• Storage Area Networks (SAN): Design and manage SAN environments, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.

• LAN/WAN Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of local and wide area networks, ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.

• Network Architecture: Develop and implement network architecture strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements.

• Wireless Access Points: Deploy and manage wireless access points to ensure robust and secure wireless connectivity.

• Advanced Networking Concepts: Apply advanced networking concepts and technologies to enhance network performance and security.

• Network Troubleshooting: Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous network availability.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide regular reports on network performance and issues.

• Client Support and Consultation: Provide expert consultation and support to clients, helping them to understand and address their networking needs.

  Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on firewalls, security, switches, routers, SAN, LAN/WAN, and wireless technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

• Extensive experience with network switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HP).

• In-depth knowledge of SAN technologies and management.

• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN design and implementation.

• Expertise in network architecture and design principles.

• Advanced knowledge of wireless access points and wireless network security.

• Ability to apply advanced networking concepts (e.g., MPLS, BGP, OSPF).

• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
