About the Position:YAI has an opening for a Receptionist position. This position handles duties as it relates to visitors entering the office, as well as general office management tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Key responsibilities:- Greet visitors as soon as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate party and office- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk- Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct office- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email- Create and manage both digital and hard copy filing systems for Office Manager and Vocational Supervisor(s)- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries- Keep inventory of office supply stock- Assist with collating items for fundraising events- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as receiving and distributing faxes as they arrive, ensuring copiers are stocked daily, photocopying and typing and preparing correspondence as needed

Education and Experience:- High School degree (or equivalent) required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role- Customer service skills and professional phone manner

Compensation: $16.50-$16.50 Hourly

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills- Willing to take initiative- Highly flexible personality type- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
