Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse:

Under the direct supervision of a physician and/ or Registered Nurse, participates in the application of the nursing process to an assigned group of patients. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors, and other BCHS employees.

Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN licensure (Legally Required)

• Current BLS certification (Policy Requirement)

• High School or GED (Required)

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing school for Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)

• Knowledge of EMR systems/programs (Required)

• Microsoft Office Suite (Preferred)
