In this role you will:

Under general supervision, is responsible for purchasing, stocking, preparing and cooking the food that is provided to clients at a program site.

What qualifications do you need:

• High School Graduate or GED. Culinary School training is a plus, not required.

• At least two years of prior experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment

• Food Handling Certificate may be required at certain sites.

• Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.

• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

• Good communication skills

• Familiar with best practices.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
