Position: Water Systems Manager Location: Department of Public Works Date Closed: Until Filled Position Type: Full Time / Union / Benefited Salary: \$87,105 - \$108,381 (salary step system) Statement of Duties: The Water Systems Manager is responsible for management of the public water systems under the authority of the Water Commission. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position. * Supports the Water Commission in the management of the City\'s water system * Prepares for and facilitates the Water Commission monthly meetings * Maintains statistics and data in order to generate periodic reports and the Annual Statistical Report * Issues water permits and maintains a tracking system of all permits * Participates in the determination of water revenues and rates on an ongoing basis * Prepares the departmental budget, tracks expenditures and makes projections * Gather data and information for and issues the consumers confidence reports annually * Generates, prepares and submits monthly reports to be submitted to the state * Participates in regulatory actions as needed * Performs related work as required Partial description, click MORE INFORMATION for full description.
