The Red Hat Observability Intelligence team is looking for a Software engineer to join us in the EMEA time zone. You will learn the inner mechanisms of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift 4 as you develop Observability components for Openshift. Both single cluster and multicluster environments. Communication with other Red Hat engineering teams will be an essential part of your job.

What will you do

• Contribute to different components of Openshift Observability stack

• Develop in-cluster operators

• Contribute to Proof of Concepts

• Develop PoCs into GA products

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Perform peer code reviews

What will you bring

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

• Comfortable working in an environment requiring cross-team collaboration

• Working knowledge of Python

• Open mind and a desire to learn Openshift, Advanced Cluster Manager and other Red Hat products

• Good verbal and written communication skills

The following are considered a plus:

• Working knowledge of Go

• Familiarity with architecture or operations of Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift 4

• Experience with developing frontend applications (React, PatternFly)

• Experience with Pandas
