Position Description:

• Develop and create improvements which enhance productivity, cost, plant and product quality, and customer service of the manufacturing facilities

• Create production labor standards using production cost measurement systems; prepare and issue direct labor utilization and productivity summaries reflecting the labor cost of products on a monthly basis

• Initiate cost reduction programs (CRP) by investigating and recommending cost-reducing manufacturing capital equipment or systems; monitor post-implementation impact of capital projects

• Research, recommend, and implement improved production procedures, processes, or systems to improve labor utilization

• Provide marketing and packaging with preliminary labor cost estimates for new manufacturing products

• Maintain manufacturing standard data bases and records
