Summary Dunmore is seeking a creative and proactive Internal Communications Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students majoring in Communications, Marketing, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields who are interested in enhancing internal communication strategies and contributing to a positive workplace culture. The intern will work on projects aimed at boosting peer-to-peer safety culture, managing social media presence, and supporting content planning and updates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute communications campaigns designed to enhance peer-to-peer safety culture within the organization. Collaborate with team members to create engaging and informative content that promotes safety awareness and best practices. Build and maintain a database of compelling stories for internal and external sharing. Work with various departments to gather and curate stories that highlight achievements, employee experiences, and organizational milestones. Manage and update the Dunmore US and Dunmore Europe LinkedIn pages, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligns with the company's branding and messaging. Create and schedule posts that promote company news, events, and initiatives. Support the planning and development of the 2026 content calendar, including brainstorming and scheduling content themes, campaigns, and key events. Assist in coordinating content creation and approvals to ensure timely delivery. Update and maintain the Dunmore Intranet (SharePoint) with relevant and up-to-date information. Collaborate with various departments to ensure intranet content is accurate, engaging, and useful for employees. Other Duties as needed or required

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint or other intranet platforms. Basic knowledge of social media management, particularly LinkedIn. Creative mindset with the ability to generate and execute innovative content ideas. Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks with deadlines.
Education and Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field. Experience or coursework in graphic design, including proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Previous experience with social media managem nt or content creation is a plus. Knowledge of internal communications strategies and best practices.
