Join Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) as a Data Exploitation Engineer to support both new business opportunities and existing product platforms, focusing primarily on fixed and rotor wing aircraft. The Engineering function at BDUK operates within a matrix organization, with specialized departments contributing technical expertise to our programs. This position will be part of the Product Support Engineering Department, encompassing critical areas such as Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis, Reliability and Maintainability, Logistic Support Analysis, Engineering Data Exploitation, Obsolescence Management, Technical Publications and Integrated Logistic Support Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your experience to support fleet data analysis, drive digital data exploitation, and develop core capabilities for deploying data enhancements to enhance business and program performance.

  • Collaborate with Engineering disciplines and senior stakeholders to ensure consistency across projects.

  • Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and report on Data Exploitation activities.

  • Support company initiatives such as quality improvements, safety culture promotion, Diversity and Inclusion advocacy, mentoring/coaching, STEM outreach, and other growth-focused projects.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance is essential.

  • Proficiency in Data Exploitation modelling calculations.

  • Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.

  • Understanding of the interdependencies between Data Exploitation and areas like Reliability & Maintainability, Design, Safety, and Asset Management.

  • Knowledge and practical experience with risk & reliability management systems and techniques.

  • Background in Defence is advantageous but not required.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Word) and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.

Engineering Degree qualified, minimum Technical Education HNC/HND and or received some formal training in Support Engineering principles

Relevant Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
