MFT is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on, experienced maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance functions, troubleshooting, calibration, and preventative maintenance within the facility. The candidate will have working knowledge within electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining equipment, including but not limited to: piping, pumps, steam boilers, air compressors, ventilation and scrubbing units, HVAC system, lighting, building and grounds
• Assists in the reconstruction of lines, including but not limited to: dismantling tank set up and installation of new equipment
• Suggests plans for routine maintenance (preventative maintenance) that will help decrease emergency breakdowns of the machines and their components
• Perform work on electrical conduit including: cut, bend, thread, measure, assembling, and installing
• Perform work on pipes (i.e.: cut, mold, thread, and joining)
• Operate welding equipment within codes
• Repairs faulty equipment and/or systems
• Realign and adjust components such as spindles, gears, and shafts
• Inspects surrounding areas while performing maintenance work for items in need of repair or replacement and reports these items to the supervisor
• Performs assigned tasks within a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
