Nesco Resource Assembly Technician in Bristol, Connecticut

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Polish parts using abrasive paper, chemical vapor, or flame.
  • Position and assemble parts according to prints. This may involve using epoxy resins, other adhesives, press fitting, ultrasonic inserting of components, or similar methods.
  • Remove small quantities of plastic or metal with hand files and scrapers to achieve proper finish or close fit between parts.
  • Deburr parts, including precision deburring with visual aids.
  • Work to close tolerances on intricate small assembly work.
  • Use measuring tools and follow written instructions.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
