Alta Allied Health is an exciting new private practice physiotherapy clinic located in Newstead (Brisbane, QLD). We are building a strong reputation based on our commitment to providing exceptional patient care through innovative and evidence-based practices. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art VALD technology, allowing us to offer cutting-edge treatment and rehabilitation services.

About the role

As a Senior Physiotherapist at Alta Allied Health, you will have the opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of physiotherapy services within our clinic. This role is perfect for a clinician who is not only passionate about patient care but also eager to take on a leadership position. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical care, driving the growth of the clinic, providing assistance and feedback to the research and development team. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on clinical work, leadership responsibilities, and the chance to contribute to the strategic direction of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physiotherapist at Alta Allied Health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to our diverse patient base. You will be

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing management for the local community including a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior physiotherapists and other allied health professionals within the clinic, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

  • Clinical Excellence: Utilize state-of-the-art VALD technology and evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes, staying updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, including occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and dietitians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

  • Education & Advocacy: Conduct patient education sessions and community outreach programs to promote health and well-being, and advocate for the importance of physiotherapy within the broader healthcare landscape.

  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, contribute to the clinic's growth strategies, and participate in team meetings and case conferences.

Is this you?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Physiotherapist who is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and is eager to take on a leadership role within our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, with a strong background in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. Previous experience in a leadership and or elite sports medicine is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate both patients and team members. Proficiency in using advanced physiotherapy technology and a strong commitment to continuing professional development.

  • Mindset: A patient-centered approach, with a focus on delivering evidence-based care and achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. A collaborative team player who values the importance of working together to achieve common goals.

  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and professional indemnity insurance. Additional certifications (e.g., sports physiotherapy, dry needling) are an advantage.

Requirements

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance (via an approved insurer, e.g. as part of APA membership).

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience.

  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of advanced physiotherapy techniques and technology.

  • Professional independence and to manage a varied caseload.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
