As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic HR Service Centre Lead to join our HR Shared Services team in Brisbane! In this role, you will report to the Global HR Service Center Lead and collaborate with the broader Human Resources group to ensure that every employee experience at Hatch is exceptional. The Human Resources Shared Services team is a client-focused team that works in partnership with employees, managers, and other HR functions to provide strategic, simple, and efficient solutions that drive operational excellence and business results.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed HR Coordinator team

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on the execution of all transactions and HR Service Centre processes across all stages of the employee lifecycle

  • Perform weekly data audits/validation; correct data errors and coach/train HR Coordinators to achieve high levels of accuracy

  • Measure and report on the performance and quality of work of the HR Service Centre team

  • Monitor HR support requests and intervene/escalate when necessary to ensure seamless HR service delivery

  • Work with Regional HRIS Analysts to analyze and resolve technical issues, as well as meeting new operational requirements (e.g., acquisitions, restructures, etc.)

  • Work collaboratively with our global HR Service Centre and broader HR team to deliver consistent, accurate and timely HR services.

    You Bring to the Role:

    Ideally you hold tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field, combined with solid experience working in a generalist HR capacity. You have strong attention to detail and are ready to take the next step in your career, leading a team of similarly qualified HR professionals to deliver a high level of service to our employees and business leaders alike. You have an exceptional administrative foundation, are highly organised and able to manage conflicting priorities, both as an individual as well as through your leadership. As a skilled communicator, you are able to build and maintain supportive working relationships while demonstrating tact, respect and discretion. Experience with SAP/Success Factors would be beneficial, along with a strong interest in HR Systems and processes.
