Hyatt Regency Brisbane, a fast paced and dynamic full-service 5-star hotel, is seeking an exceptional Director of Sales & Marketing to join our talented team and to lead our Sales & Marketing department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of the hotel's sales and marketing initiatives, playing a vital part in driving the overall success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets
Oversee the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, coaching and leadership to drive high performance
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents and industry partners
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
Manage the hotel's PR efforts, CSR strategy, digital and social media presence, ensuring effective online marketing and brand visibility
Collaborate with the hotel management team to align sales and marketing initiatives with the overall business objectives
Develop and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement innovative sales and marketing tactics
Qualifications/Experience
Extensive experience in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality industry
Proven track record of successfully leading sales and marketing teams to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets
Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to develop strategic, data-driven marketing plans
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Proficient in digital marketing, social media and web-based analytics tools
Highly organized, with the ability to priorities multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
Motivated and solutions-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style
