Other facilities include 24-hour fitness centre and the iconic outdoor 20-metre infinity pool ideal for unwinding after a day’s work, shopping or exploring Brisbane.

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Assistant Bar Manager to join our team in Hibiscus Bar & Terrace.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to guide Hibiscus Bar & Terrace to be a successful and independent profit centre whilst ensuring maximum guests’ satisfaction and adhering to Hyatt International standards.

Main Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Hands on role, working closely with the F&B team to constantly drive improvement

• Assist with management of rosters and payroll costs

• Ordering and stock control

• Assist with creation of cocktail menus

• Full responsibility of all social and corporate events hosted in Hibiscus Bar & Terrace

• Training and development of all team members, communicating clearly at all times and with the F&B Manager, hold regular meetings with team to share, inspire and develop

• In conjunction with Sales & Marketing, assist with execution of promotional activities for the venue

• Work with the Food & Beverage Manager to identify ahead of time and respond to market trends, along with a focus on Hyatt’s Top 20 fundamentals in F&BRequirements

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Previous experience using Infrasys is highly regarded

• Cocktail and general wine knowledge

• Current RSA

• Current RMLV is advantageous

• Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Unlimited/Unrestricted work rights in Australia
