Job Title: Die Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our team in a Tier 3 automotive supplier environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for load processing, setting up water tools, thermolators, and hot runners. The role also involves proper care and cleaning of equipment, accurate completion of mold set-up sheets, and delivering molding equipment to machines as per schedule. Additionally, the candidate will need to operate a fork truck and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Process loads and set up water tools, thermolators, and hot runners.

• Care and clean equipment from any water or oil emitted from mold changes.

• Complete mold set-up sheets accurately.

• Deliver molding equipment to molding machines per scheduled requirements.

• Operate a fork truck.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in die setting.

• Ability to operate a fork truck.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience with machine operation, tooling, mold, plastic injection molding, and quality control.

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of tool and die, injection mold, and plastic injection.

Work Environment

This is not a climate-controlled facility, with temperatures varying depending on the season. The team is very friendly and supportive, creating a collaborative work atmosphere. The position involves 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm, Mon - Fri) and 3rd shift (10:30pm-7:00am, Sun - Thurs) hours, with initial training on 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) for two weeks.

PAY: 22$ (21$ while training on for 2 weeks)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
