At Pauley Construction , as a Analyst Fleet Services , you’ll assist with the administration and coordination of Pauley’s fleet of vehicles (over 900 pieces of equipment including 300 licensed vehicles). The Analyst Fleet Services will support compliance with government rules and regulations and manage databases, title and license vehicles as required and complete paperwork in support of fleet maintenance as needed.

    What you’ll do as a Analyst Fleet Services

  • Support the Manager Fleet Services in aspects of operating the fleet department as directed

  • Assist Manager Fleet Services to monitor equipment utilization and make recommendations for reassignment, I/C sale and/or disposals.

  • Overall responsibility for FMCSA regulation compliance to reduce driver DOT violations and citations.

  • Reviews existing processes and develop improvements/solutions.

  • Use various data bases to maintain data integrity of the fleet.

  • Work with accounting group to ensure necessary paperwork is accurately completed.

  • Assist in notifying operations of needed preventative maintenance and DOT inspections .

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days of hire.

  • Medical Card

  • 5 years of experience in the field or related area.

  • 3 years of progressive FMCSR experience and knowledge of FMCSR regulations.

    Additional qualifications

  • Must have a wide degree of knowledge in the vehicle and maintenance field.

  • Must be able to multi-task in an ever changing environment while meeting company goals and maintaining a positive and productive relationship with coworkers and direct supervisor.

  • Needs computer skills, a general understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

  • Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools.

    Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Occasionally: The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate.

    Salary Range: Annual salary range for the Analyst Fleet Services position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
