Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Utah is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager to oversee and execute general accounting, financial reporting, data analysis, credit & collections, and accounts payable activities. This role ensures all internal controls are maintained in these areas.

  • Supervise daily, monthly, and annual accounting functions, including period close processes, account reconciliations, and period-end reporting.

  • Oversee accounting functions such as accounts payable, fixed assets, forecasting, and inventory.

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.

  • Provide timely support to various business partners.

  • Lead, train, and develop the team.

  • Develop KPIs, goals, and measurables to drive results.

  • Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies.

  • Provide analytical support to other departments and drive continuous improvements.

    The Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and is a key member of the Vulcraft leadership team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience

Preferences:

CPA or MBA

  • 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a related field.

  • Experience in steel making or fabrication operations
