Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Food Services Manager 3 for Bridgton Hospital , located in Bridgton, ME. The manager will oversee a team of hourly employees serving patient meals, and supporting cafeteria retail food services. In this role you will be a part of the Sodexo management team, reporting to the Food GM. The schedule for this role is primarily Monday-Friday,with managers sharing a weekend rotations.

What You'll Do

• manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates

• maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements

• ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings

• effectively mentor and develop the food services team

• implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services

• cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

What You Bring

• a strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment;

• experience leading and engaging a culinary and/or food services team

• Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits

• familiarity with Sodexo processes and systems (preferred, not required)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
