Overview:

This position will be an integral member of Solta North America Finance - FP&A group and the successful candidate will provide value-added analyses and insights through forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This position also provides financial support to the Commercial (Sales/Marketing), Customer Service, Product Support and Product Distribution teams.

General Functions/Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data, including sales reports, profit margins, and expense forecasts, to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario analysis, and decision-making. Lead and assist in preparing financial presentations for Management reviews.

  • Assist functional leaders in strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process with a proactive mindset.

  • Provide analytical, accounting and reporting support to the Commercial team, Customer Service, Product Support, Distribution teams including monthly fluctuation explanations of actuals vs. plan/forecast.

  • Budget/Quarterly forecast preparation and cost allocation - Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.

  • Financial/Accounting Analysis - Month-end close entries and review of general ledger accounts (accruals, reclasses, prepaid, balance sheet, T&E).

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly account reconciliations.

  • Prepare and analyze standard monthly management reports.

  • Possess a strong mindset of continuous improvement and always be looking for efficiencies and improvements to the budget and the monthly close reporting processes.

  • Establish rapport and build cooperative, respectful working relationships with relevant internal and external parties.

  • Capital & expense project variance analysis as needed.

  • Responsible for all SOX compliance related to the above duties.

  • Prepare ad hoc requests, and/or participate in special projects, as assigned.

Required Education / Skills / Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • MBA or CPA a plus, but not required.

  • Prior medical devices / pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.

  • Interested candidates must possess high ethical standards, strong technical and analytical skills, and be a team player.

  • Ability to meet deadlines with the utmost attention to details.

  • Ability to problem solve and present solutions. Advanced capability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including senior management.

  • Microsoft D365 ERP system and Hyperion (Hyperion Planning/ HFM) experience is a plus.
