Sanofi Group Senior Director, Lead Market Access Vaccine Digital Innovation in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Main Responsibilities

  • Investigate, identify, and implement Digital Solutions, including AI, to expedite and automate core pricing and contracting functions.

  • Lead and develop a prioritized and strategic path to significantly improve the internal and customer experience for contracting functions such as, but not limited to, contract creation, contract membership linking, contract performance, contract rebate & fee payments.

  • Accountable for identifying risks and opportunities to the business and leading the implementation of solutions.

  • Accountable for improving the experience for 1600+ contractual relationship, 75+ unique contract structures), 154,000 contract members, $3.1B+ in contract revenue, and 1500+ annual payments totaling approximately $90M.

  • Champion innovative pricing and contracting approaches aligned to health economic models to favorably position Sanofi assets.

  • Future focus on creating competitive economic differentiation with current assets and future pipeline.

  • Direct presentation of Digital Solutions to Senior Leadership.

  • Establish and maintain a leadership role performing and overseeing design and delivery of Digital Solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall output.

  • Work closely with the Market Access leadership team and leaders from Account Management, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, and Digital teams.

  • Take a leadership role in process improvement and development of new automated, innovative techniques.

  • Effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously and collaborate with external partners on joint projects.

  • Manage and co-lead ad hoc, prioritized digital automation solutions for immediate process and out improvements.

  • Work closely with Digital team, CD&A Reporting & Analytics, Account Management on urgent issues.

  • Co-lead and oversee upgrade and transition of current and upcoming key system applications including iShift, Sapphire, and RMGP (ModelN SaaS).

  • Collaborate with Data Governance to continue to enhance internal and external data to achieve best-in-class data for contract performance, KPIs, and data analytics.

  • Impact and influence the development of contract performance reports and analyses, ROI models and methods that will result in more accurate customer profitability assessment and decision making for contracting. This includes calculation of rebates and admin fees, compliance to GP and legal guidance and controls, validation of payments and execution of payment to customers.

  • Support with recommendations on contract strategy based on digital solutions and changing market conditions.

  • Digital/IT experience, specifically implementation of new systems and applications

  • Strong analytical, process, operational and automation experience, and skills

  • Strong understanding of legal and compliance requirements of market access

  • Experience in people management or leading large cross functional projects a plus

  • Experience in healthcare industry, pharmaceuticals, or vaccines is preferred

  • Contract systems experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of external data sources such as IQVIA preferred

  • Able to coach, guide and mentor your team and others and lead through adversity and ambiguity.

  • Your work experience includes 3-5 years of US market access experience and at least 15 years of relevant experience.

  • You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and a demonstrated interest in continuous learning.
