We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Bridewater, NJ. This role is within the IT industry and primarily focuses on providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The individual will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring optimal performance for end-users within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to user-reported issues via phone, email, or ticketing system, providing timely and efficient resolution.

• Install, set up, and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot slowdowns or outages, and ensure optimal performance.

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and equipment.

• Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues, ensuring a unified approach to problem-solving.

• Educate users on basic troubleshooting and system use, providing guidance on best practices for maintaining system security.

• Manage inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring adequate resources for organization's needs.

• Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support or vendors as necessary.

• Ensure proper functioning of security tools such as antivirus software.

Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

• Extensive understanding of Cisco Technologies; ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco systems.

• Expertise in Citrix Technologies; familiarity with installation, configuration, and administration of Citrix applications.

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware; ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues on various devices.

• Experience with Dell Technologies; knowledge of Dell hardware and software solutions.

• Proficiency in handling Apple Devices; troubleshooting and resolving both hardware and software issues.

• Knowledge of Backup Technologies; ability to implement and maintain backup solutions.

• Experience in Configuration Management; ability to manage system configurations to ensure stability and performance. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
