Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager Consultant to assist our client in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This position will be responsible for corporate accounting functions such as executing entries, sales analysis and preparing sales and inventory forecasts, with additional emphasis on handling accruals and prepaids. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement that includes the flexibility to work remotely on an ad-hoc basis. This role is a long-term consulting position with potential to be converted to a permanent role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sales division, ensuring accurate and timely entries

• Prepare, review, and analyze sales and inventory forecasts

• Handle accruals and prepaids for the sales division, ensuring they are properly accounted for

• Deliver effective financial tasks and operations using SAP S/4HANA

• Deploy Hyperion Financial Reporting for progress tracking and comprehensive data analysis

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis, honing in on pivot tables and lookups

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completion within deadlines

• Conduct inventory forecasts to address and anticipate future business requirements

We are seeking a professional with a strong background in finance or accounting, proven managerial experience, and an understanding of financial software, particularly SAP S/4HANA and Hyperion Financial Reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is a must. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
