As a Senior Software Engineer your essential job functions will include the following:

• Actively look for process improvements across software stacks and lead implementing the changes.

• Knowledge and ability to communicate cost benefit analysis based on technology.

• Within own software stack, create guidelines and best practices as well as identifying future needs and technical development goals.

• Be a resource within your own software stack and other stacks.

• Be proactive about mentoring at all levels, mentees learn because of your guidance and support.

• Monitor promoted code.

• Set up diagnostic tools and diagnose more complex issues.

• Establish standards for diagnostic tools.

• Understanding ramifications outside of your technology.

• Influencing outcomes of interactions across teams (both people and technologies).

• Proposing new patterns and standards.

• Learn new technologies independently.

• Set deadlines for entire projects. Responsible for project deadlines and the ability to delegate tasks in order to meet deadlines.

• Write effective tests and appropriately integrate testing into the development process.

• Understands business processes affected by development and offers insights.

• Be proficient in all of Dent Wizard's security standards.

• Be approachable and open to other's ideas.

• Take a position and be willing to lead constructive debates. When there is not agreement, lead others to your position with emotional intelligence.

• Be an expert in one or more of the following: C#/.NET Core, modern UI frameworks (React, NextJS, VueJS, Svelte/SvelteKit (preferred).

• Ability to read, write, and debug SQL.

• Experience with SQL Server and other database platforms (Postgres, MySQL, etc)

• Appropriately integrate testing in the development process.

• Create implementation plans.

• Proficiently be able to identify correct solutions to problems when doing research.

• Monitoring the performance of relevant projects.

• Experience building applications in AWS using ECS/EKS, Lambda Functions, and other AWS services.

• Experience building Microservices architecture.

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes

• Work with Info Sec and Dev Ops to ensure security standards are followed.

  Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.

• 7+ years of related experience, preferably in design, development, and documentation.

  Physical Job Requirements:

• Continuous viewing from and inputting data into a computer screen
