SHIFTBRI - Shift 3 (15%) (United States of America - Michigan)

A BRIEF OVERVIEW Orchid Orthopedics Solutions in Bridgeport Michigan is responsible for manufacturing surgical cutting instruments for the medical device industry. At this site there are multiple types of machine equipment, a few examples are CNC Lathes, Mills, Grinders and Gundrills.

The maintenance team is responsible for the repair and upkeep of all equipment. The environment is climate controlled and has a flexible overtime schedule with very few weekend commitments. The Maintenance Technician is responsible to install, maintain, and repair CNC machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping, electrical systems, control systems, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and preventive maintenance by performing the following duties.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site's equipment.

Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Perform annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment and plant facility.

May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions.

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Perform major repairs on production equipment.

Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on most of the machines in the shop.

Provide scheduled and unscheduled repairs of the production equipment as required. The production equipment consists of Citizen Lathes, Haas Mills, Rollomatic Grinders, Eldorado Gundrills and many CNC/Manual machining equipment.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

2+ Years Experience in production equipment maintenance (Required)

Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred)

Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)
