Job Description

The role of the Ski Receving Supervisor is to maintain daily role/function of the food &beverage storerooms.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper ordering , receiving, storing and issuing of all products in the food, beverage and general storerooms under the guidance of the storeroom manager.

• Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, stock and store as appropriate.

• Assists in keeping the storeroom properly organized by sorting by group as stated by the purchasing manager.

• Being aware of the importance of the first in/first out (F.I.F.O.) rotation.

• Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storerooms.

• Assist managers by filling General Storeroom requisitions.

• Assist in end-of-month inventories.

• Assist department managers with quality concerns or questions as related to the purchasing of new or upgraded items.

• Assists purchasing manager in the inspection of the refrigeration units and brings to their attention any deviation from the set temperatures as well as any deterioration of the quality of the perishables (record temperature on a daily log).

• Responsible for the cleaning of all storerooms.

• Follow and adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations.

• Create a list for out of stocks/goods not received "items" so that follow-up can be made.

• Verify all orders are completed and closed out.

• Lock all coolers/storeroom doors before departure at end-of-day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Must have a valid drivers license.

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Fulltime, part time, and on call positions available
