Job Description

Ensures Omni culture and operational standards are maintained through training and development for F&B Department. To deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures. To support the Food and Beverage director and the Executive Chef to help maintain smooth operation of the Food & Beverage Department.

Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Office:

  • Assistant to the F&B Director and Executive Chef; secondary support to the F&B Department

  • Manage day-to-day food and beverage relations, all internal communications about the Food & beverage Department

  • Oversee scheduling for each F&B outlet and correspond with F&B Managers to ensure proper coverage

  • Answers office phone greeting internal and external guests

  • Check voicemails and emails and follow up accordingly

  • Order and maintain office supplies

  • Compose and type correspondence for F&B Director as needed

  • Oversight of the amenity process for the office, to include Alice.

  • Manage the menu process with Cleveland Menu to insure accurate, timely approved menus for the property.

    Accounting:

  • Process AP invoices for different vendors.

  • Oversee monthly expense spends to ensure the division is spending expense allocations effectively. The position will directly mange linen, uniforms, and office supplies.

  • Assist the division with scheduling efficiencies by assuming the role of master scheduler. Our goal will be to reduce overtime while keeping our staff efficiently employed.

  • Process all payroll deduction forms and invoices from employee purchase of shoes through corporate buying program

  • Disseminate outlet P&L and financial information monthly to department managers

  • Run financial reports and provide results to management team

  • Be a division Point of Service (Symphony) guru.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in an administrative position, ideally in hospitality

  • Strong platform skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must have a strong attention to detail

  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Power Point, Word and other programs.

  • Broad understanding of the hotel operations, systems and procedure
