The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Recreation, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Base Kitsap Responsibilities Issues laptops and game equipment, performs general housekeeping, and program support Conduct and maintains inventories of equipment, retail goods, rental supplies and item for proper accountability Performs entertainment and promotion scheduling Responsibilities further entail the issuance of game equipment, general housekeeping, bowling program and program support Must be able to handle cash and operate a point of sale system Incumbent must be capable of driving a 15 passenger van Requirements Conditions of Employment Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required. Certification obtained from ACSM or American Council on Exercise within 6 months of employment. This position is Flexible category, up to 40 hours of work per week, can include nights, weekends and holidays. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors under varied weather conditions. This position is required to do considerable standing, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, climbing and lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
