Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This is a mechanical maintenance position. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on various machines, including bearing machines, wire cutting machines, shape enders, centerless grinders, and motors. A significant part of the job involves rebuilding gearboxes, which will occupy 100% of your time. You need to be able to read manuals to understand how to replace parts or bearings on the machines. Additionally, you will work on hydraulic pumps and various types of motors, requiring the ability to troubleshoot pumps effectively.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bremen, Indiana.

Work Environment

Hours: This position will train for roughly 9 to 18 months on days before transitioning to an off shift. This job specifically targets 2nd shift hours (3 PM - 11:30 PM) and 3rd shift hours (11 PM - 7:30 AM). Training on days will last up to a year, depending on the candidate's progress. Day shift hours are 7 AM - 3 PM. You can expect ample overtime opportunities and will receive a $1/hr shift premium once you move to an off shift.
