We are looking for someone with strong management, customer service and sales skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of this thriving small business.  Responsibilities will be to continue growing the business and maintain a positive work environment for my 12 front desk managers, designers, and drivers.  Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Back up for front desk managers.
  • Waiting on customers in person as needed.
  • Taking orders over the phone when the front desk manager is not available and during busy times.
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of our designs, names of flowers and plants so you can assist customers with personalized recommendations.
  • Assist with changes to showroom displays.
  • Help to organize and merchandise gift and floral displays in the showroom to maximize the instore sales opportunity.
  • Daily monitoring of cooler designs to ensure freshness.
  • Order flowers and supplies daily or as needed with the direction of the designers.
  • Master our DOVE POS system for order entry. Learn all aspects of this retail entry system.
  • Handle any customer complaints or reviews to ensure positive experiences.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service is provided to all customers.
  • Participate weekly in TeamFloral zoom meetings, "Florist Talk."
  • Read industry references, listen to floral experts, and remain open to new ideas.
  • Learn how to use the Myteleflora.com site. There are numerous training videos on both TeleFlora and TeamFloral. Make these be a part of your early and ongoing training.
  • Learn and manage the TeleFlora web site.
  • Learn and manage Door Dash Merchant Portal and financials.
  • Sales call on businesses to expand our corporate account presence.
  • Promote "The Smile" program to nursing homes and customers.
  • Develop a marketing program to increase wine and beer gourmet basket sales.
  • Develop and implement your own strategies to increase sales and profitability of the flower shop.
  • Weekly COG reporting. (TeamFloral program).
  • Every two weeks payroll reporting (TeamFloral program).
  • Be an active member of the Brecksville Chamber of Commerce. Participate in all of their functions.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Saturday 9 - 4 p,  Benefits include health insurance.
