[**SUMMARY [Under the CNC Department, the Set-Up/Operator will be required to setup and operate our CNC machines to produce quality parts and meet schedules.

Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, cutting, turning, facing and milling.
Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
Performs and is responsible for the setup, maintenance, disassembly and reassembly of machine tools
Sets up and performs functional tests to determine proper operation of tools prior to submittal to inspection for specific hole and countersink sizes.
Diagnoses and determines nature and extent of damage, operational defects or wear by making routine and periodic inspections of
machine tools
Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
Provide timelines to Director of Manufacturing
Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
Uses micrometer, countersink gauge, ball gauge, punches hammers, sockets and pliers to make necessary adjustments and repairs.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out -of tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
Operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
