Your role and responsibilities

IBM is looking for a Product Marketer for the Cybersecurity Marketing team to help business expand within existing and to acquire new clients. This role is a highly visible individual contributor role and will report up to the IBM Software Marketing and Communications organization. The individual has an intellectually curious growth mindset and isn’t afraid to go against the norm.

Responsibilities:

· Understand the product(s) to deliver actions to meet business objectives including market research and competitor insight. Define and execute a marketing strategy using outside-in, data driven approach.

· Determine security intersections of target buyers for your product(s), gaining understanding of customer pain points and needs.

· Build and articulate differentiated, compelling, and bold messaging that communicates client value

· Understand the value proposition of the product(s)

· Execute tactics based on objectives and key drivers

· Work collaboratively across product domains, platforms and campaigns

· Drive narratives that bring security use cases to life, including thought leadership, sales enablement, GEOs, digital / web, demand strategy, etc.

· Ensure the narrative for your product(s) is understood and implemented across web, assets, and communications

· Deliver impactful product and feature launches by following best practices, aligning timing to market moments

· Frame and create messaging/positioning that the bridges Hybrid Cloud and AI campaign use cases / entry points in creating positioning that clearly articulates the Security narrative with a strong call-to-action (CTA) toward security products

· Report and monitor results of marketing strategy using a data-driven approach to determine key drivers and course correct as needed to achieve revenue targets

· Able to manage multiple tasks and products at once

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times per week

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 5+ Years of experience in B2B marketing

  • Experience in tech industry

  • Ability to articulate a point of view concisely and effectively to all levels within organization including executive
