Summary:

Develops procedures for the solution of well-defined routine business problems, or for segments of complex and difficult problems or systems. Plans the computations or processes necessary for computer solutions with a high level of reliability and execution speed. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with business unit representatives to define and evaluate moderately complex business automation needs. Interpret business specifications to prepare for analysis/design functions.
  • Develop design and analysis of systems and/or programs and system implementation schedules.
  • Generate, test, and document program code. Debug and resolve moderate to complex problems.
  • Modify existing applications programs or writes new programs of moderate to high complexity and scope, working with applications systems designs and specifications and utilizing standards, procedures, and techniques.
  • Independently perform problem determination and resolution in the production environment.
  • Coordinate testing and debugging for programming changes and assist subordinates with debugging, whenever necessary.
  • Prepare system documentation as required

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with Power Automate
  • Working knowledge and experience with:
    • Git
    • XML
    • MS SQL
    • Azure Dev Ops
    • API, REST and SOAP services
  • College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field
  • Three to five years of programmer/analyst experience.
  • Requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, strong judgement and the ability to work directly with a variety of stakeholders from business partners to IT management and peers.

Salary range: $90,000 - $130,000. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include the candidate's qualifications and experience.
