Job Description:

Eli Lilly is committed to laboratory and manufacturing system modernization and integration, leading industry standard. The Projects Laboratory System Analyst role is responsible for providing electronic system technical and compliance support to ensure the QC laboratory maintain a state of control regarding the generation and reporting of analytical data throughout a project lifecycle. Responsibilities involve interacting with global and local IT support functions to define laboratory user requirements and master data to assist with the development and deployment of IT systems such as LIMS/LES (LabVantage, MODA), Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (NuGenesis), and other laboratory systems (Empower, WinKQCL, and others). The role will involve monitoring, execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Laboratory IT systems for the QC laboratories with an emphasis on analytical control strategy and data integrity.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with significant experience in GMP bioassay, including cell-based assays, combined with experience supporting and/or implementing electronic laboratory solutions for data management in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Ideal candidates will have experience identifying and implementing method improvements through change management systems to improve the experience of the analysts performing the assays for GMP release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate existing method requirements into a new LIMS system.

  • Evaluate existing processes and identify efficiencies leveraging new technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Identify and implement harmonization opportunities for method master data.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment.

  • Proven experience in bioassay testing, particularly cell-based assays.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in requirements identification, design and implementation of electronic laboratory systems.

  • Knowledge of instrument connectivity within a laboratory setting.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
