What to Expect:

Your role is to ensure effective day-to-day 3rd Party warehousing operations management, strategically leveraging systems, resources and workflow processes while at the same time ensuring cost control and network stability.

A day in the life:

  • Effectively lead 3PL teams to ensure efficient and effective operations

  • Collaborate with Warehouse Inventory Control to ensure accuracy and control of inventory balances

  • Manage 3PL performance to deliver expected service levels and achieve KPI targets.

  • Effective short/medium term space planning of the warehouse network

  • Collaboratively support management of demand planning inventory levels and safety stock requirements

  • Establish annual operating plans for 3PLs

  • Manage 3PL performance to deliver expected service levels and achieve KPI targets

  • Communicate internally and externally capturing context of the issue and/or intent to action

Role Requirements

  • 4+ years relevant and successful experience within logistics, distribution centre or supply chain related environment, 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in logistics, distribution centre or supply chain

  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and best practices

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Engineering or related field

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SAP knowledge (Materials Handling), and analytical skills.

  • Strong understanding of audit processes, and the ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 standards.

  • Experience in Distribution Network Design; High Perfomance Logistics; Internal/External Audits; SAP/WM integration
